Research Experience:

Sheng-Rui Jian received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Department of Electrical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung Li, Taiwan, in 1998 and 2000, respectively; and Ph.D. degree in Department of Electrophysics from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2006.

He is currently a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His research focuses on the nanoscale mechanical deformation behaviors and mechanisms of semiconductors (single crystals and thin films) using microscopic techniques, as well as the mechanical properties and deformation behaviors of nanostructured materials by molecular dynamics simulations.
